Meal Plan: w/c 25th June

Periodically we have a catch-all meal plan! Basically, this means that I will go through all our tinned food and freezer and see what I can make out of what we already have for the week ahead.

This does two things:

  1. Gives us a week with a low shopping bill, because we are using up what we have.
  2. Makes sure that food isn’t languishing too long in cupboards and the freezer and frees up space.

Because I have been trying new recipes for the blog it has been ages since we have done a catch-all week so next week is going to be the first one we have done in a while.

I have searched the cupboards (it is actually fun … a bit like when they used to tip the ingredients out of the shopping bag on Ready Steady Cook!) and here is what we’ll be eating!

Monday: Creamy chicken and vegetable pasta bake

Tuesday: Slow Cooker potato curry

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Pasta Puttanesca

Thursday: Slow Cooker Cowboy Beans and baked potatoes

Friday: No-Cook Friday

Saturday: Piri Chicken Salad

Sunday: Salmon en Croute
